» THE IMPACT OF SOFT LAW RULES ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS LAW

Sumary

In the following investigation it will be analyzed the role that soft law rules play in the development of international human rights law. Accordingly, it will be developed the concept within the framework of general international law, and then it will be exposed the particularities of soft law in relation to human rights rules. The idea that spurs this analysis is the conviction that it is an unavoidable task to underline the relevance of soft law rules in relation to human rights in the search for real State commitments in the protection and development of international human rights law.
