Registration in Diploma in “Migration and Refugees Protection”
Dates of general registration: From March 1 to June 15, 2021.
Date of scholarship registration: From May 1 to May 31, 2021.
The course will be held from August 3 to November 16, 2021.
Registration procedure
STEP 1 - Payment:
Options for payment (up to and including the day of completion of registration):
Option A: payment in cash, in Argentine pesos (local currency).
The payment must be made at the Treasury of the Faculty of Law of the UBA, Main Floor of the Faculty of Law located in 2263, Figueroa Alcorta Avenue, CABA. The Treasury department opens from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 7.30 pm. Both cash or Visa Electron Debit Card are accepted.
A copy of the payment form must be submitted and indicate that the payment corresponds to code nº682, in order to identify the payment. The copy of the payment form does not imply registration. See step 2!
Option B: payment by bank transfer.

IMPORTANT: It must be taken into consideration that for international bank transfers, the Banco de la Nación Argentina charges a commission of TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS (USD 25.00); plus, the V.A.T.. DOLLARS: FIVE WITH 25/100 (US $ 5.25), the sum amounts to DOLLARS THIRTY WITH 25/100 (USD 30.25).
Option C: scholarship request to UNHCR.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) will grant scholarships to take part in the 2021 issue of the Diploma in Migration and Refugees Protection .
If you would like to apply for a scholarship you may write a motivation letter of up to 1500 words explaining why you are interested in the subject and why you need a scholarship. You have to upload the letter along with your CV, in a same file, to the registration form of Step 2.
STEP 2 - Registration:
Complete the registration form available here, for which you will need to:
- have completed the payment as you will need to upload a copy of the payment receipt, or
- have prepared your motivation letter and your CV in a single file to attach them to your registration form.

Students who make their payment by bank transfer from foreign countries shall pay TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS if they wish to enroll under the Participant Modality, and FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS if they wish to enroll under the Research Modality. These amount does not include transfer fees, which must be paid by the students.
If other means of payment are authorized to be made from abroad, such as credit card payments, the amounts to be paid in DOLLARS stated in the preceding paragraph shall be respected.
Remember, payment does not imply registration!
Registrations will not be processed after the established deadline, even if payment has been made on time.
No refunds will be made for late payments or registrations. Late registration payments will be charged to the next edition of the same course. If the registration fee is increased, you will be notified to pay the difference.
