19ª Conferencia Global de la International Consumer Law Association

The Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires will host the 19th Conference of the International Association of Consumer Law (IACL) on July 23, 24, and 25, 2025. Under the theme "New Challenges in Consumer Law: Celebrating 40 Years of the United Nations Guidelines for Consumer Protection and the Founding Fathers of the IACL," the conference will address the progress and remaining challenges in the protection of consumer rights.

This international event brings together experts, professors, researchers, and representatives from around the world to discuss and cooperate on consumer law topics, providing a global platform for academic exchange and the creation of collaborative networks.

Presentations, panels, and workshops will be held, addressing both the classic issues and new challenges in consumer law and consumer protection policies.

We invite experts from around the world to submit an abstract of a paper they would like to present during the conference. Abstracts and inquiries should be sent to conferenciaiacl2025@derecho.uba.ar. Presentations may be made in English, French, or Spanish.
